The questions people ask me most.
If you are considering coaching, these are the things most people want to know before we meet. If your question is not here, send it through the enquiry form and I will answer it personally.
Which programme is the right fit?
Starting Strong is for first-time managers. Leading at a New Level is for leaders stepping into significantly greater responsibility. Breaking Through is for experienced leaders working on something specific and personal. If you are uncertain, the discovery call is where we work it out together.
How long is a programme?
Six sessions, one-to-one, by Zoom. Sessions are scheduled to suit your diary rather than forced onto a fixed timetable.
What happens after the six sessions?
We review together at the end. Some people take what they have and run with it. Others continue with a further block of sessions. There is no default answer, it depends on where you are.
How do I arrange a discovery call?
Send an enquiry through the contact form. I will read it personally, and if it looks like a fit I will send you a booking link for a thirty-minute Zoom call.
What happens on the call?
We discuss what is going on for you, what you would like to be different, and whether one of the programmes is the right match. If it is not the right fit, or the timing is wrong, I will tell you.
How much does coaching cost?
I share pricing on the discovery call, once we have established that the programme is the right match. Coaching is priced per six-session block.
Can my employer pay?
Yes, and many people fund coaching this way. The For Employers & HR page sets out the business case and the format, ready for you to share with your manager or HR.
How are sessions delivered?
By Zoom. I am based in Ireland and work with clients internationally.
Is everything confidential?
Yes. What we discuss stays between us. Where an employer is funding the coaching, any reporting back is agreed up front and limited to attendance and progress at a high level, never the content of our conversations.
Coaching, mentoring, or therapy, what is the difference?
A mentor shares what worked for them. A therapist helps you work through the past. Coaching is forward-looking and driven by your agenda. My role is to listen, ask the right questions, and offer honest challenge when it helps.
